Megella Ltd was established in 2018 with the objective to provide a real alternative to the larger HR consulting and headhunting firms. We specialise in providing Human Capital solutions to start-up companies, the private equity industry and their portfolios and larger corporates.

Our Founder
Our founder, Jim Richardson, has a deep understanding of the HR sector due to a long and varied career. He started as a chartered accountant at EY in London, specialising in forensic accounting and auditing, before moving into headhunting within the areas of risk and compliance. He then moved in-house in 2000 and spent the next 18 years working in various strategic HR roles in the Banking sectors with companies such as Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse, and as a Managing Director at RBS and Santander UK.
During his time at RBS he led a team of 325 recruiters, managing hiring volumes of 25,000 employees a year as well 4 RPOs and c.15,000 contingent workers. He also ran Diversity & Inclusion. Whilst at Santander UK, he ran the talent, learning and resourcing function as well as leading the ‘Future of Work’ cultural change program.
